As local sourcing specialists, we've had the opportunity to work with many project managers and procurement specialists over the years, and we're familiar with the challenges in international procurement.

As most project managers know, sourcing products across borders can be a headache at best & disastrous at worst.

 There are complexities in lead times, quality control, logistics, and even cultural nuances - especially cultural nuances. We can't tell you how many times we've seen local businesses completely fumble because they were stuck in the cultural way of doing business. 

Through our experiences — and after talking with a few colleagues in the field — we’ve learned some valuable lessons that can help avoid common sourcing pitfalls.
